First Sunday

Don't forget this is the first Sunday of the month, meaning P&G Week. Look out for these extra savings and have fun clipping!

No Paper

Didn't get to the newsstand to get my paper this week :( Asked hubby and he forgot...At least it's not the first Sunday of the month like next week. Those are the papers to look out for beacuse of the extra P&G Inserts. Will have to check ads online, however, which I have always found to be harder to do. How about you?

Scissors

What is more important to the coupon clipping process then the scissor (well aside from the coupons of course)? I have read several things praising getting a good scissor and paying extra for it...but I don't know about that. If your like me, you need a new scissor each week. I always seem to misplace or forget my scissor after I go out, and since I don't always clip from home I have to buy a new one. Trust me - it's not fun to have to fold and tear a papers worth of coupons. When choosing a scissor there are one of two ways. You can get the really good scissor - which has the positive points of cutting the paper like butter and lessening your time clipping; or if you like me and buy a new one each week, the dollar store scissors do just as well. Just remember to have a scissor with you when you plan to cut, because altough folding and tearing works, it is not fun!

Hello, and welcome to our blog. We are sisters who have decided to start a blog on many different aspects of ourselves. I am the older sister and love saving money with coupons so hopefully you can get tips that I have come across through this. My sister is "the baby" and is off to school and hops to be able to relay that experience here. We shall see how this works, as we are both off to school (I'm going for a masters and will comment as possible) and working, so time is of the essence.
